Introducing the ‘Raising Happy Kids Blog’ to Arizona Parents!

Hello and welcome to Raising Happy Kids Blog!

You may be wondering, “Why does Scottsdale Learning Centers have a blog?”

Good question!

There are three main reasons ‘Raising Happy Kids Blog’ is a great resource and tool to connect with our Scottsdale daycare website.

Reason #1: We are already a resource used by Scottsdale & Phoenix parents.

Almost every day at one of our Arizona preschools, parents express their desire to learn more about the challenging art of parenting, ask questions about current health and safety suggestions, and/or wonder how to nip a certain behavioral issue in the bud.

We take delight in aiding our SLC Families in their pursuit to be even better at caring for their children. We feel honored to have parents and family members join with us in our dedication to educating ourselves so that we can educate the little ones.

This being said, we didn’t have an adequate place to share our information with the public.

So…now we do!

Reason #2: To give you (yes you!) parents a way to become happy parents with happy kids!

We have a heart for children! A heart for parents! & a heart for HAPPY FAMILIES!

That is why we want to reach out to our SLC parents…so we can grow into one big family full of confident parents and happy kids!

Raising Happy Kids Blog posts will be on a variety of relevant information for parents, ranging from diverse and quality parenting tips, to creative activities you can do with your child, to hard-hitting child development questions, to healthy eating tricks, to the genius behind children’s books!

On all of these posts, we ask YOU to join in this Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Center family community and comment with your thoughts, wisdom, and experiences! This will be how we continue to grow in our community!

Reason #3: To connect with the families of our preschool students on Scottsdale Learning Center school news and upcoming events!

Find out about a variety of school-related subjects, such as information on childcare tax credits, a new program one of our schools is offering, or an exciting upcoming event to add to your calendar!

Bio: I have been with Scottsdale Learning Center since 2003, beginning as a Preschool Teacher then moving into the Director position in 2006. I love helping families incorporate grace-based parenting techniques at home, am obsessed with my nieces and nephews (and my entire family all-together), could drink a Starbucks eggnog latte every morning if possible, am hooked on traveling and learning about cultures with my amazing husband, and absolutely LOVE kids and early childhood education!
