MINE!!!
August 16th, 2011 by Olivia Rognstad

Oh my goodness.
I LOVE kids.
I love that they are goofy, cuddly, fearless, FUN, and all the rest of it too.
I love them so much that I chose to be surrounded by them as I worked at Scottsdale Learning Centers over the years, and now with my own children at home!
But, I will be first to say, “Kids are NOT pure at heart!”
If you feel like arguing with me, first read this perfect little poem (author unknown) that I came across while reading Powers of Mine, an awesome mommy blog written by Sarah Powers (from our Scottsdale Learning Centers community)!
The Toddler’s Rules of Possession
If I like it, it’s mine.
If it’s in my hand, it’s mine.
If I can take it from you, it’s mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.
If it’s mine, it must NEVER appear to be yours in any way.
If I’m doing or building something, all the pieces are mine.
If it looks just like mine, it is mine.
If I saw it first, it’s mine.
If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
If it’s broken, it’s yours.
Hope you are having a blessed Tuesday, and that this little poem made you chuckle…
